Lime Green is taking over the World!
Welcome to the very first DealClick blog post, What!!! You maybe thinking, its 2011 how can this be the first blog post from one of the pioneers of the online space, having started online price comparison shopping way back in 2001!!Well truth be told we've been writing online articles for years in the form of our buyer guides, and we will continue to-do so, but with our blog we will aim to bring to you tip bits and other cool stuff that just doesn't fit within our existing buyer guide article format.
So with a million ideas of what to write about, today we're going to focus on one simple topic, Lime Green, a favourite colour of ours for many years, and as you can see from our site design, something we're not abash to using liberally around the site.
Like you, we've noticed the colour Lime Green become more and more commonplace as a choice for everyday consumer items such as kettles, toasters, furniture and much more.
Of course Apple was one of the first companies to bring out Lime Green product with the introduction of its colour range of ipod nano's. There have been many variations since, with the latest Nano looking tre chic with this Lime Green hue.
They seem to have limited the full colour choice to the Nano and Shuffle, how long till they really crank it up a notch and bring out a Lime Green iPhone, come on Apple, we know it took you a while to get the White iPhone sorted, but surely now is the time!
We're pretty sure Sony were the next after Apple to bring out colourised products, with their range of cameras and laptops. The Sony W350 still remains a favourite of ours and with 14 mega pixels and a 4x zoom there's no compromise on spec, to get the right look. Now with a sub £100 price tag, this is probably one of the most stylish, value-for-money compact digital cameras out there.
The Vaio laptops also look very smart in the colour range, and a great way to coordinate all your gadgets...
Of course now you can get almost anything with a Lime Green twist, the Parisot Meubles Trix Nursery Furniture set is one of our favourites, what better way to inflict your love of Lime Green on your little ones that to submerge them in it from an early age!
On a recent trip to Ikea I was amazed at home many baby and toddler accessories were on offer, pottys, feeding chairs, toys, as well as furniture, and we thought us here at DealClick towers were the only ones to go Lime Green crazy.
Bodum really seem to have got the lime green bug with there range of kitchen appliances, a quick look through their range and we quickly lost count of how many products they actually have now featured in lime green.
