    Hexafun aquariums are great for beginners.You get the tank, filter and plant for a fairly reasonable price. They come in various sizes, It is made of plastic as opposed to glass. So ideal for a kids bedroom. My Hexafun tank contains 2 small Red Fantail and a Black Moor(coldwater fish).
    This tank is great for beginners and includes everything needed for a child setting up his/her first tank.

    pro's
    Easy to set up and makes a great 1st tank for children to learn to look after their new fish. It is nice and compact so fits neatly into any room.

    con's
    Would be nice to have a light to show off your new fish. Also no heater means it is a cold water set up only.
