    Started off well with handy removeable plates. However, after 4 months of use, the plates are no longer non-stick. Pretty useless in fact. Sandwiches come out now like omelettes once they have been carefully chiselled out! Found the older model much more durable. A great value essential for any kitchen. Makes 2 rounds of toasted sandwiches for great-tasting snacks. Removable plates for easy cleaning. Non-stick surface makes cleaning effortless. Power on and ready lights show when the product has reached the ideal temperature. stylishly brushed chrome lid design ideal for any kitchen.

    heavy to lift,no bad points,a temp control switch would be a bonus.oh everyone wants to eat at mine.A bit fiddly to clean but no worse than similar items.Non stick coating was useless and scratched even with plastic utensils. Had to throw it out and get a new one within a couple of months.The other problem i have with this is that i find it very difficult to close
