    pro's
The Thompson Breadmaker looks good. Used an Aussie equivalent for at least a year and it makes great bread every time. And also it will make a great plum jam. There are 68 baking & kneading options with 12 automatic programs for bread, dough, pasta and jam. Automatic fruit and nut dispenser with beeper. It is Smart bake and programmable memory settings. New continental style crispy bread program- extendible bake and rise option for browner crusts. Rapid bake feature

    con's
The bread maker kind is plastic body it is cool to touch while cooking, and it is preferred a metal bodied bread maker. The paddle does not mix the bread properly and at first the bread would have lumps of congealed flour in it. Also the outside soon peels off leaving a shabby looking item.
