    This shaver can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or from your mains power supply. Recharging the battery for a period of one hour will give you approximately thirty minutes of uninterrupted, cordless shaving. The shaver comes complete with a charging indicator and also has a pop-up trimmer for your sideburns and moustache (if you have one). A deluxe pouch is also included for convenient storage of the electric shaver when not in use.

    The Philip HQ6849 Rechargeable and Mains Shaver is designed with a shaving system that will give a supremely close shave. The 30 minutes shaving time provided by the rechargeable battery is enough for about 2 weeks worth of shaving and this time can be supplemented if necessary by switching to the mains power supply. The shaver is great for use while travelling and staying in hotels.

    However, the shaver does have many of the usual problems associated with dry, electric shaving and if you have found electric shavers are not for you then the Philips HQ6849 is unlikely to change your mind.
