The NetGear FS105 is a 5-port Ethernet switch that gives your local area network a high-speed connection for 5 users. It doesn't require complicated software configuration. All you have to do is connect your Ethernet cables and the power cord, and the switch is ready for use. It doesn't need any cooling system either – it was constructed in such a way that it doesn't need an internal fan. This means that the NetGear FS105 runs without the normal hum that most networking switches have. The unit is also quite compact, which is beneficial in tight office or home spaces. The built-in status LEDs also inform you of your network's status (power, speed indicators for each port, etc). The NetGear FS105 comes with its own wall-mounting kit, making it an option for users to put it up against a wall for easy access. At a competitive price, this is a decent switch for a small network.
